frogse.cx is a comical tribute to the shock site goatse.cx
On January 14, 2004, the domain name goatse.cx was suspended by the Christmas Island Internet Administration due to Acceptable Use Policy violations in response to multiple complaints, but many mirrors of the site are still available. The complaints resulted in the suspension of goatse.cx's domain name. The domain has since been reused but nothing like the OG site.
The history of the website goatse.cx can be found on Wikipedia, from it's initial creation showing an image of a man stretching his butt to it's legally obliging closure. After many years it was recently bought and republished for a crypto project called goatse. It's original format will however remain the OG of memes. The butt stretcher.
